Senior Unreal Engine Game Developer

Inceptive Studio is seeking a Senior Unreal Engine Developer to lead and mentor our game development team. As a senior member of our studio, you will drive technical excellence and innovation while creating immersive gaming experiences.Position Overview:We're looking for an experienced game developer who can lead by example, make critical technical decisions, and mentor junior developers while maintaining high coding standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shipping successful games and deep expertise in Unreal Engine development

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Lead the development of core game features and systems using Unreal Engine 5

• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable game systems

• Write high-performance, production-quality C++ code

• Define technical standards and best practices for the team

• Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Mentor junior developers and foster their professional growth

• Collaborate with art and design teams to optimize workflows

• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges

• Drive technical design decisions and architecture planning

• Lead performance optimization initiatives across platforms

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of professional game development experience

• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 and C++

• Proven track record of shipping at least 2 commercial game titles

• Strong understanding of game engine architecture

• Expert knowledge of optimization techniques and performance profiling

• Advanced experience with version control systems (Git/Perforce)

• Excellent problem-solving and architectural design skills

• Strong leadership and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading game development teams

• Advanced knowledge of graphics programming and shader development

• Expertise in multiplayer networking architecture

• Experience with continuous integration/deployment pipelines

• Knowledge of multiple gaming platforms and their constraints
